Trainer Profile – William Heng

William Heng is a respected SkillsFuture –  Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) trainer, and Positive Psychology educator with over 15 years of experience in adult learning, workforce transformation, and mental well-being.

A powerful testament of lifelong learning and career reinvention, William began his journey with limited formal education. Through perseverance and continuous upskilling, he rebuilt his career and today holds two Master’s degrees—in Applied Positive Psychology, and, Training & Development—along with multiple professional certifications in adult education, coaching, and resilience training. His journey strongly reflects the SkillsFuture ethos of continuous learning, adaptability, and employability at every life stage.

William has trained thousands of adult learners across Singapore, including PMETs, frontline workers, WSH professionals, and mature workers. His programmes integrate WSH principles, psychological safety, mental resilience, and human performance, helping organisations build safer, healthier, and more engaged workplaces. His facilitation style is practical, evidence-based, and learner-centred, participants can immediately apply at work.

At 67, William continues to focus on what he does best—training, coaching, researching, and workshop design— while helping individuals and organisations stay relevant, cope with change, and avoid burnout in a fast-changing workplace.”
